The new contract with ESPN that incorporates over the air broadcasts on ABC with a lot more flexibility for both ESPN and the conference, starts in 2024 and adds $20 million per annum per member institution and the conference office is freeing up extra cash then, too.

Whether or not you like $Bill, his notion that money is the oxygen of intercollegiate athletics definitely is true...

Good thoughts Farmer. My thought is that there may not be enough money available to the AD to attract a better coach than RC.

Next coach might be better might be worse , barring a stunning reversal there will be a new coach. if the new coach is not better he wont be getting multiple extensions

With his contract being allowed to be run out to its last year, decent odds he already knows he's gone.
