Didn't see it, only heard bits and peices. My feelings are 1) MLB without a tough drug policy is a joke; 2) in spite of that, I'm not sure Congress has or should have jurisdiction in this area; I didn't like the Casey Martin decision and I wish Senators would confirm judges and not deal with these issues simply for photo-op purposes; and 3) while I think Donald Fier (sp?) is one of the biggest jokes in the history of sports, his first response when cornered should have been "Senator, the best way for you to protect the integrity of the game in a way you have jurisdiction to act is to eliminate all forms of sports gambling. Then, there's little chance of a Pete Rose situation that ends up being much worse."
