Thinking about making the trip tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any directions.

it's on cullen near hofheinz. take 45S and exit cullen. take a right. the baseball field is on the right.

I-45 South out of downtown, Exit Cullen, take a right. Stadium is at Cullen and Elgin. You should see it. I usually park in a lot by McDonalds - some folks may be tailgaiting nearby (they have the last few years).

I was looking at UH's facilities. They are awesome. It looks like everything is top notch. I wish aTm could dress up some of our facilities so they don't look so damn concrete. No doubt we have great atmospheres for baseball and football but all of our stadiums are ugly.

I went to Cougar Field last week and was reminded why I love Olsen so much. The stadium is a joke and the atmosphere was horrible. I guess you can't expect too much from a commuter school though.

Don't get lost. It can be a very scary experience in that area.

I had a cousin that went to UH. They said that if you're lost in that area past 9pm...it can get really scary. You can almost see an episode of Cops play itself out in that area known as the THIRD WARD. It's weird because you drive down the street on Cullen towards MacGregor you will see some really crackhouse apartments next to some luxurious houses right next to the bayou.

My wife and I are taking our daughter to her 1st baseball game tonight. How many Ags do you think are going to show up?

Cullen isn't so bad. My sister just completed here senior season as a swimmer for UH so I have spent a lot of time down there in the past few years.

They have cleaned up Cullen so it is virtually all student housing now. The apartments on Cullen are all university owned housing. Scott Street, which parallels Cullen to the west is where things get pretty sketchy. West of Scott is the 3rd Ward and MacGregor near campus is pretty interesting. There are lots of really old, beautiful mansions along Brays Bayou. Plenty of gigantic oak trees with lots of Spanish moss, very pretty.

There is also a neighborhood called University Oaks that is bordered on the north by Wheeler, the south by Brays Bayou, the west by Scott, and the east by Calhoun that is pretty nice. Lots of older homes that have been restored.

Is there sarcasm in this post that I just missed?

Anyone going to the game tonight should take a couple of things into consideration.

Rodeo Traffic around Reliant
SW Freeway around downtown will be extremely slow due to construction

JoePerry97, There will be lots of Ags at the game tonight sitting on the first base line.

awiley - I went to a UH game and was the only one cheering for the team. They even chastized me for wearing my ATM hat. I was cheering for their team for crying out loud. Should be more Ags than Coogs tonight.
