Because the bases were loaded and only one run was necessary to win the game. Only with walk of home runs do they score all the runs. Any other point in the game that would have been an easy double.

This may be the least functional roster I've seen from Childress in a decade if not ever. Going to be a long season. No doubt in my mind that this team battles but winds up in the bottom half of the SEC. Childress probably should begin writing his Christmas cards while he still has the distribution list of donors.
