Pitchers always say that, though.
That's true, but 100 is sort of an arbitrary number that seems to be a cap for teams. He's been pitching great, especially in the past couple innings, so I'd be surprised if we don't see him at the start of the 8th.

Let him go back out period unless he says he can't or starts allowing baserunners. Eating innings is good and this would be a significant win for the odds of keeping us out of the 15/16 host line.

Ehhhh, at 99 pitches, it's extremely unlikely. Yes, in the 9th they'll be swinging first pitch, but I just don't know. Us scoring doesn't factor there, though. That's whay I was asking.
