Pretty sure the call WAS that he got hit. If you watched the replay from the 3rd base side how I UK patch moves with the ball.

play by play says, "Ruled Strike by leaning into HBP. Strike out." So I guess so.

They ruled that he was hit, and was hit because he leaned out. Already having 2 strikes, he struck out.

The score tracker has it listed as K Looking, but maybe just because they don't have a Ks getting plunked option. I don't know if the official scoring is supposed to be Ks Looking in that situation
