Is SlingTV with the Sports package, at $30/month, the cheapest way to watch SECN and SECN+ for cord-cutters?

I'm pretty sure it's $25 + $5 = $30.

My question is whether there's a cheaper alternative I don't know about. If I could subscribe only to WatchESPN, I'd do that.

ESPN has its own streaming service now you can buy directly from them, it's $5 per month.

Does this service not give you access to all of ESPN's programming?

If you have cable or satellite, the ESPN app is free, as is it's use. ESPN+ is an add on subscription streaming surface that costs $4.99/mo.

If you are a cord cutter, YouTube TV, Hulu, Sling, etc. have ESPN (all of them in the case of You Tube TV). Thus you can get + for $5/mo.

I'm a cord-cutter without any current subscription. So for me, it's $25 + $5 = $30.

HTH.

Are we sure that ESPN+ will give us the baseball games? I have youtubeTV and added ESPN+ because my sister plays for Arkansas St. but I didnt even think about baseball season being a possibility with that.

the regular ESPN app shows all kinds of college baseball. I have watched a ton of Aggie away games (like pretty much all of them) using the regular ESPN app. Don't what you get on +.

gottcha; so the ESPN + ESPN + at $30 is your cheapest legal option.

If I recall correctly, most of our games are on the SEC+ digital content. Since It's been a while since baseball season, which sucks terribly, I am not 100% sure if my memory on that is clear.

So, unlike in years past; where every game could be watched via watch espn on the SEC network. Only a select few already chosen games can be viewed in that manner this year, correct? All other games will be streamed via the espn plus channel which is at an additional cost?

First I've heard of this. Where did you read it? I was assuming the games would be on SECN+ like in previous years.

Edit: I think you're wrong. The official schedule shows SECN+ for the home and conference away games.

I just looked it up and the SEC+ is apart of your cable package. Which means baseball games, softball games etc. will not be available via espn+

I have streamed all home and all conference games on the watch espn app via SEC network channel since we have joined the SEC. This year it seems that they will all be available for streaming on the SEC plus channel. The difference is SEC channel vs SEC PLUS channel. I hope I am wrong and will be able to stream without a subscription to SEC PLUS.

ESPN+ is not the same as SECN+.

Most providers of premium corded/sat offerings include ESPN/WatchESPN streaming of everything that the provider offers based your subscription.

The cord-cutter offerings are currently generally cheaper and somewhat more customizable.

ESPN+ is an over-the-top linear offering via streaming of content usually not available via the telecast linears that usually represents the old ESPN3 offerings that weren't conference or network specific that used to be "included in the price of admission" with the ESPN3/WatchESPN login.

See the sticky for other comparisons and pricing.

First I confused myself and got upset about not being able to watch Aggie baseball. Then I misspoke and confused anyone trying to answer my question. Sorry, I was wrong. Just ready for some Aggie baseball, kinda anxious. BUBBLES BUBBLES BUBBLES lots of BUBBLES

I can't find **** on the googles and ATT is no help. I have U-verse 300 and an AppleTV, but could not get the game. Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to upgrade my u-verse?
