Easy to win when your strike zone is 5 feet wide.
I hope the sips get some SEC home cookin in Oxford. The 9th inning was simply ridiculous.

That exact call had been a strike all weekend. EVERYTHING that was near outside of plate was called a strike all weekend.

Maybe some pitches have more bearing on a game's outcome than others.
Maybe a 1-1 pitch in the 3rd with nobody on in a blowout game that's called for a ball rather than a strike is less impactful than a called 3rd strike with 1 out in a bases loaded postseason 1 run game in the bottom of the 9th...
that's true, but one pitch can change the momentum in a game.
That does look like a Greg Maddox or Tom Glavine strike. They got calls like that by throwing it farther outside for balls and then bringing it closer (but not on the plate) and getting it called a strike.
