Almost 100% positive we were at 14 before this game started
We were at 15 after our last game. May moved up between then and start of the game base on other teams movementaggieredneck12 said:

If we win out I bet we'd move ahead of auburn cause they'll pick up another loss which would put us at 13. Any chance we could move ahead of miss also? That would put us at 12. At 12 we'd have a realistic chance to host IMO.
If auburn beats ole miss, we won't get enough rpi points to pass them even if we win out. If ole miss wins tomorrow and the Aggies win out, they could jump to 12, but that's about as high as realistically possible. There is a significant gap between 11 (Clemson) and us.
If we finish with an RPI of 14 or better .... we deserve to host ..... especially before tu ( their losses yesterday and today should end any discussion of them hosting - period

Any way to predict RPI? Wonder what it would be with wins over ole miss and Florida in our next two.

A good start tomorrow would be Houston beating East Carolina and Ole Miss beating Auburn. That would pull those two teams back to us without us even playing a game.
If A&M plays their way into hosting, and they likely already have, should be some epic crowds at Olsen. Hoping we get tu in Fayetteville for some full-on erotica.
Keep in mind that they are starting to refer to us as "the hottest team in the country" given we just beat 3 ranked teams in our first 3 games. Never ignore how much hype impacts selection committees.
Even better than border-line erotic? Go Arkansas!

Hype and good engaging crowds that make for great camera pans. I don't know anything about how that selection stuff works, but it can't hurt right?
The lack of teams hosting in Texas may help us, as well. The committee has a history of caring about geography. LSU, A&M, Baylor, TCU and no Oklahoma team hosting combined with t.u being a bubble to host hurts. Win one or two more in this tourney and things get very interesting.
I think I can be a Hog fan for a couple of days if t.u finds themselves there.
Do we need to root for anyone in particular in the games going on this morning?
