Good luck. If you have not been to the UH stadium it is very small.

Schroeder Park seats 3500 and they averaged 1600 this year. There should be tickets for Houston Aggies. Maroon out the place.

Nope. We only get 200 for the regional, and that's all comps. For a super regional, we would get 600.

Better figure out the secondary market, UH is gonna try to keep all the sales in house

Not with both us and Baylor plus the host team

Baylor, haven't seen a schedule. Normally the 2,3 game is first

So... how hard is it going to be to get tickets?

Also, I remember when we went to the Rice regional a couple years ago, we were able to buy tickets right away. It's a little frustrating to have to wait. UH doesn't give their donors a chance to request regional tickets in advance?

My guess is they figured they'd have one or more of us, sips and BU and didn't want the opposing teams to buy out all the tickets

In 12th man email

Quote:

All-session and single-session tickets, if available, will go on sale through the University of Houston website beginning 8 a.m. Thursday, June 1.

Due to extremely limited quantities, tickets will not be available through the 12th Man Foundation Ticket Office.

Don't think so since it's an NCAA event (for A&M regionals at home they made you pour it in a solo cup for the tournament in the club).

I don't think tickets go on sale to public until Thursday morning.
One day at a time.

Hope it's improved since last time I saw a ballgame there. If not, TERRIBLE venue for a regional!

I've been to a couple games at UH the past couple of years. Their turf looks terrible.

When was the last time you've watched a a game at Cougar Field (or whatever it is called now)? It is a more than an adequate venue for a regional.

All artificial turf fields suck. Having the faux dirt around the bases colored Cougar Red is particularly hideous.

Sure, that's what everyone tries to do. But, the difference here is that UH didn't take ticket orders from season ticket holders and donors in advance. Most schools that host take provisional orders before the host sites are announced, and are then ready to sell tickets to travelling fans on Tuesday.

I was there this past weekend with our HS baseball team. It is very adequate and we are thankful to have a turf field and large venue to be able to play a 3-game series close-by. The staff, workers and others were very accommodating. May come in handy with weather forecasts.

I have 2 lower reserved behind the Ags bench. I think I can buy 4 more. $150 each for all games.

UH has always allowed donors to wait until the match-ups are announced to put tickets on sale. Then, they go by seniority/committee/Cougar Pride rankings.

I think they do it because they have a smaller fan base, and most world forgo the pre-sale if they don't know the other teams.

With that said, select groups could begin purchasing at 8:00 AM yesterday. That is when I bought most of my tickets. The max available then was 30. After the announcement, it was dropped to 8 unless already purchased.

It isn't that they are trying to keep Ags and Baylol out as much as they want their donors and students to get first crack.

There are a ton of GA and Lawn seats (weather permitting).

Looking at what's still available, the only sets of 2 and 4 are now in the 200s. Between the announcement and 12:30, our section, the section next to us, and the sections behind the A&M bench were completely sold out. To put that in perspective, at 8:30 I was able to buy ANY seat in the entire stadium sans those reserved by the UH coaching staff.
