Coleman comes off the bag again trying to do jump tag instead of just stretching to catch the ball. Wtf. Error allows another run.

I'm beginning to feel like we are playing for a regional right now. Missouri and Carolina gonna take our spot.

He's a true freshman playing what, his second game, at first. Give him a little slack. Davis was pretty terrible at first for the start of the year and turned it around.Schu2000 said:

Also for those complaining about over use of Chaffin. A little over 60 innings in 25 appearances is not over use.
Not saying you were one of them, but there were complaints that Chaffin was pulled too soon in the Saturday game against Arky.aggie0109 said:
It's called being overused... Rob does it all the time with long relief guys, arms get tired they leave the ball up

We swept Mizzou in the regular season on the road. I don't think a one-off game would be enough for them to take our spot.sellthefarm said:

Just realized that Cam Blake is having a hell of a game. Responsible for half of our runs.

That is 2.4 innings per appearance, which is a lot for a relief pitcher, add in all the up and down warm up tosses in the bullpen, he has thrown a lot this year for a guy who is just contributing for the first time this year.

Chafin is our mid reliever. 2-3 innings an appearance seems par for the course.

I just think there is a limit to the number of sec teams they will put in. We are definitely in the conversation with these other teams. Right now we are safely ahead of them but if we lose today and they win a couple more, we could end up behind them in RPI and "what have you done for me lately"

Think they have one quality arm out of the pen, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them use their Saturday starter if they need him. Their season is dependent on winning at least two this week, and probably three. Zero would send them to summer ball.

Just over 2 innings is a lot for a relief pitcher? Especially one who pitches to contact? LOL okayaggie0109 said:

I would need earphones for breaks and between innings with all of the bro/red dirt crap they play on the loud speaker.
