My dad, a lifelong Razorback fan (who grew up in Arkansas until 12), asked me to go to the A&M / Arkansas game with him tomorrow night. He's always been a workaholic so it's rare that we get to spend time together and I haven't been to an Aggie baseball game since I was a current student 20+ years ago. He wants to make sure we have real seats as he's 70 years old and not up for sitting on grass. If I buy the GA tickets on the A&M site, what are the chances we can get a real seat where he can see well? We can't leave west Houston until 2:30- 3pm and I wanted to take him by the Bonfire Memorial and grab a quick bite to eat before going to the ballpark. I'm guessing that would put us at about 5:45-6:00pm to enter the ballpark. Is this early enough for GA seats? Also, will we be looking directly into the sun in those 2 sections most of the game? I also looked at Flash Seats just to see about other sections, but the more reasonable priced tickets ($20-25 each) aren't any closer than these GA sections, but may not have to deal with the sun. Please advise with your thoughts. If you suggest a 3rd party retailer, what sites do you suggest that are trustworthy and easy to use that you'd recommend for baseball tickets? Flashseats is the way to go. The longer you wait the cheaper they get. I usually buy mine after parking at reed.

I'll probably buy in the morning because my dad will drive me crazy if he knew I didn't already have tickets and wanted to wait until just before game time. On a different note, are all the lots near Reed just $5? That's what I understood when looking online, but I wanted to confirm. Lastly, any good recommendations for a quick casual dinner near campus? I saw an article yesterday about the top 45 restaurants in College Station and had only heard of about 10 of them. It's amazing how much things have changed in that area over the years. I'm looking to avoid regular chains that I could eat at anywhere. Thanks again!

Got some questions as well. We're taking our kids to Aggieland for the first time and are going to the game. Can someone tell me if the general admission seats have seat backs or are they just bleachers? Also do the lower level seats ever show up on flash seats? Thanks in advance.

Last minute reply, but Mad Taco is one of the newer places that is great to eat. We usually hit it every time we come to town. Blackwater Draw always has good beer, but their food can be hit or miss.
