Yes, Birk has been shifted over for a lot of plays. That's why he can't quite get to some of these, and he doesn't position himself.

The guy is 1st team Defense in the SEC, and people still assume every ball that gets through the infield is because he's clueless. He's been good for us at that position this year

They are framing this game from the booth and with the camera work. You can tell his hand comes off before the foot gets to the bag and Homan still has the tag on.
Still no mention of the drastically different strike zones from the top half to the bottom half of each inning.

On the overslide it seemed the runner's foot moved a couple inches while the tag was being applied... Looked like it was on the bag at first but moved just an inch or two.. and then he pushes his foot back on the bag...
Out could have been the right call...

Don't worry, I'm sure we'll get to see the replay 20 more times before the games is over.

There are so many legit things to complain about in sports but when you complain about things that simply aren't true it costs you believability in all future arguments.

This blue has had the most consistent zone I've seen in a month. Not a good zone but consistent. Maybe 3 pitches all game that didn't mesh.
