I know it just worked out in their favor last year, but check how tceh made it to the CWS last year...

They did good in Coral Gables to upset Miami, and their gift was the 4 seed out of the Gainesville regional in College of Charleston.

So they went from 2 seed in a regional, to hosting a 4 seed for a super regional. They went on to destroy College of Charleston 1-0, and 1-0 to advance to the CWS.

Doesn't get easier than that.

Mizz St had 2 runners on and 1 out in the bottom of the 1st but gets nothing out of it.

I certainly did a double take on that seeing as Virginia is the national power (normally) and was ranked very highly to start the year. The talent is obviously there

I'm rooting for all SEC teams except LSU and that's simply because we would play them first (assuming we win)

Agree with this! Missouri State has no business as the #8 seed. Their 1st round pitcher just got chased. If that dude was in the SEC, he wouldn't have had the season that he has - that is for sure.

Arkansas isn't even a good hitting team by SEC standards, outside of Benintendi of course. They're making Missouri State's pitchers look like high schoolers.

Kind of puts into perspective how good the SEC is when our 5th best team is pounding another team in the super regional. The MVC got way too much credit this year. Why give MSU a national seed when you know they can't host a super? Why give Santa Barbara a regional when they suck and it has to be 3 hours from campus?

The committee messed up really badly this year, but I don't care if it means the SEC does well.

This Virginia Maryland game is pretty entertaining. Maryland just gave up 5 in the 8th to go down 5-3 but they are battling back. And just got screwed on a HBP

I watched some of the UVA/MD game earlier, but just realized that MD is the home team at UVA.

I thought that the host was the home team in game 1?
