Just how bad is the Big XII?! I mean, seriously, Texas has thrown 3 CG's in the tournament. That obviously says something about their pitching, but more so about their opponent IMO

Texas will probably have a parade if they win this one. But it is a conference tournament title.

for this tournament the BDF has reverted back to 2014 -- when every game was 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, etc...,

the horns have only scored 11 runs in their 4 games, but may win the championship.

the only problem with the horns coming to CS...is that the #1 story all week leading up to the regional will once again be "how great is it for A&M and t.u. to play in baseball...you know they should play in football every year too." And all the quotes from Sharp, Sumlin, Strong, et al...will be dug up again and so forth.

and by the way...the 2-seed (whomever it is) will love this. They will take the approach of "let's sneak it and win this thing while all eyes are on A&M and t.u."

Pretty good point all around, especially the 2-seed part. Last year going into Houston, the story felt like "Texas and Texas A&M will play this one opener game on TV and Rice will be able to walk to the supers unscathed."

Instead, both teams beat Rice and went on to have an unforgettable 3-game series, with Rice being the afterthought of the whole weekend.

Texas had a very turbulent season with the second half of it being a disaster. Seeing that if we don't come out on top today, we miss out on regionals, yea... I will be throwing a parade if we win.
