The Blue Bell problems are all from Broken Bow, OK. I would assume that not much of that location's product is shipped to BCS. Shirley Blue Bell is smart enough to stock this community from Brenham.

A friend and I pitched the concessions director on a new sausage and boudin when we moved to the SEC…every person in the meeting was blown away by the quality, and especially loved the idea of serving boudin at football events. It would kill! They backed out last minute because of a board member within A&M who happens to be a board member of a well known crap sausage company in the area didn't want any competition even though they don't make boudin and they barely make edible sausage. Never trust the association. Its all conflict of interest if you pull the curtains back.

Curious who you are talking about that is on the board of directors for Slovacek Foods and on the BOR for the university.

I have no issues with the quality of Slovacek meat, and their company does a lot of good in a lot of communities around here (as well as donate quite a bit of money to the athletics program at TAMU). The owner is also a former student.
