I wonder if BAMA has basically chalked this one up as a loss from a pitching perspective. I wouldn't expect them to throw somebody in there this early, burn a bunch of innings and expect them to contribute the rest of the tourney. If the bats come alive for BAMA that might change.

baron, yes i know. but there is no sense keepin our guys out there to risk injury or wear anyone out. we have a better team (see scorebord) so as long as we keep our players healthy, we will be alright.

their morale is already thrashed. im not implying we should let them have even 1 more run. but to prolong the game by racking up 20 runs will do more harm than help.
