My 13 YO wears his up but he's the only one on his team that does so consistently. Most kids these days wear them down. He's kind of old school. No wrist bands. no batting gloves either even using wood in BP. Says he can't feel teh bat with gloves on. Doesn't like sun glasses but sometimes you have to in the outfield.

The Old School look appears much more professional to me.
The rolled up look is also much neater, IMO.
