...am I the only one that is not too fond of them? I think maroon would have been a better choice. I'm sure there is a reason they went with green. Thoughts? Comments?

Green is standard and likely cheapest. I think theyre terrible, but its really not a big deal if theyre full of people in maroon shirts.

Green is the traditional color for baseball seats in most parks (unless blue is a color for the team, then you'll often see blue instead).
I suspect that these seats are green all the way through, and not just painted green on the surface. That should make them more durable and not result in fading or discoloration. In order to get maroon seats of the same quality, it probably would have been prohibitively expensive.

twk, the color of those seats is dictated by little plastic balls of color, I don't think maroon is any more expensive than this green. (I'm finding out to the best of my ability though...)
I do think however that they've figured out how to keep this plastic batch from fading which is important long term.

I can't believe the amount of people that are *****in about little things. We will have one of the greatest baseball stadiums in the country, not to mention the atmosphere inside! Would you rather have this?........

Whoa, ha'as. I'm not complaining, just wondering why. I'm not griping about the color of my Corvette after switching from a Honda Civic.
Yeah, they probably would fade, but the faded green in stadiums looks just as bad as maroon that's not quite maroon. The Aggie Soccer Complex has maroon seats and I think the tennis center doesn't too. It didn't stop them there.

True and true, but it just doesn't fit well with the other sporting venues on campus. I think it will still look great no matter what. Like I've been saying, I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering why and think maroon would have been a better choice.

AG12, you are right...cuz when I'm sitting on them, I won't see them. Yes, i'll see the seat back in front of me...wait no I won't bc they don't have green seats in 203...
they could have done maroon and it would of looked great. Grenn is not bad and yes more of a traditional look but maroon would of been awesome!

From the picture of LSU I don't get why we had to put a railing above the dugout and they didn't. Having been it does obstruct the view on the front row.
