An old thread from october in the premium board had some info that said 12th man tv (at kyle filed) will be moved to olsen when the upgrades at kyle are done.

no way, that thing is too big and why would they move it, if it doesn't fit use the screens to make several smaller ones for Kyle.

And we're years away from upgrading Kyle.

You do all this and still keep a old crappy scoreboard.

That older thread was actually mine from when I went to a lunch with Bill Byrne. Someone asked him about the scoreboard if the south end zone were to be closed in. He said that the plan would be to move the scoreboard and all the controls to baseball to give them the best scoreboard in the nation. Yes, it would be large, but it is made to be scaled so it could be more horizontal than vertical as it is now.

When they do the Kyle Field renovation, the current scoreboard will have to go somewhere. I'm no electronics expert, but that thing is made up of panels and should not be difficult to reconfigure. It's big enough that they will probably have the line score, lineups, out of town scores, and video all at the same time, like a big league board.

You forgot ad space.

Static ads are passe. The whole board will flash an ad before every replay, and then between innings.

If by years, you mean two years, then yes, we are years away.

Yep, so it wouldn't surprise me if they put some of the panels in the fence in both gaps to run commercials in between innings and static ads during play...as well as other in-game features. That seems to be the trend in baseball these days.
