That reminded me of the 2001 World Series game 7 when Rivera blew the save thanks to his own throwing error.
I have no problem with SC winning, but that's a crappy way for this game to end.
I don't know who exactly got the error, but it hit the 3rd baseman on the ankle. He should have caught the ball. Still would've been safe though.

just saw the replay for SC's 2 runs off the double. How was that not an error?
I don't know what I'd count the last one, but the play at 2nd was definitely on the pitcher.

I didn't see it, but if they were already on their way to the next base, it's not an error.

South Carolina is going to the championship game due to defensive mistakes of the teams they played. Goes to show how important fielding is, especially with the new bats.

The first one was definitely on the pitcher. I'd like to see what the final rule is after they take a good look at it, because it looked like it hit the third baseman's shin on the throw.

cobizzle, I don't think he hit anything on the throw to third... looks like the third baseman just missed it. Throw was low, but not in the dirt

depends on the scorekeeper and if his wife is treating him good that day. I've seen it scored both ways. Sometimes if you can't decide who to give the E to, you just give him a hit

Interesting. I don't have it in front of me to go back and see. So... do we lose to the champs or do the longhorns lose to the champs? Who gets to keep their dignity?

so I'm guessing that We're SC fans for the week and Texas will be Gator fans... if any of them are even still watching baseball... which I doubt.
I picked SC to win it all last year & this year so I've been pulling for them the whole tournament (except for when we played them of course)
I've been a t-shirt fan of there's for the last several seasons. Mostly because SEC baseball is really exciting to watch & I can't stand lsu, florida or arkansas. Really don't have anything against Vandy or Miss St either
