Florida SS made a great diving catch that saved a run for sure
Florida gets out of the jam. 4-4 going into the bottom of the 8th
I started following it on Gametracker when it was 4-1. Pretty good game.
GREAT game. Both teams playing well, and Vandy fighting for their CWS lives.

Vanderbilt made a liar out of me. I had them winning their bracket
With the score tied 4-4 a low ball was called a strike by the ump. THAT call totally changed the game. Instead of Vandy up 5-4 or more going into the bottom of the 8th..its tied. Could have changed everything.
Yeah it was right down the middle of the plate but definitely below the knees, should have been ball 4

Any description of the batter reaction to the broken bat?
When oSu broke a bat earlier this spring the batter just stood there dumbfounded and looking at the handle while being thrown out at first.

the barrell went deep into the stands. The batter looked at the end briefly, but the ball was not in play.
he was way ahead on an inside pitch. just like you would shatter a wood bat is exactly how this one broke. he was just way ahead of the pitch so the bat landed well inside the stands on the third base side for a right handed batter.
And then it showed some 10 year old kid walking up the steps of the stands with the barrel in his hand
