did you hear we have new bats this year? averages and home runs are all down this year! these BBCOR bats have smaller sweet spots, and the ball doesn't come off the bat as fast as it use to and falls about 25 feet shorter!

and they play like wood bats!!

Cal's DH and best hitter was the bullpen catcher at one point. Did you know that the bullpen catcher is the lowest man on the active roster? They would give him an at-bat from time to time in intrasquad or OOC games, and he came up with some hits. After a few AB's they realizd that this kid could really hit the ball. Now he is the designated hitter on a Cal team that went from the brink of extinction all the way to Omaha in the same year.

Speaking of Cal, did you hear their baseball program was extinct last september, and the day their coach told them, they still practiced?
