Does anyone know why South Carolina has a decal on the back of their helmets that features an outline of the state of Alabama overlayed with the Alabama flag?

In April after the tornado devastation in Alabama, Auburn started the decals and asked Carolina if they would join in wearing them when they next played (in honor of those lost in the storm). They have been wearing them ever since. SEC is a tight group!
