but awful base running gets them out of it.

slow hit to SS, fielded by 3rd running up... runner at 3rd stays, runner at 2nd tries to advance... gets back to 2nd... runner at 3rd attempts to go home on the throw, out at the plate...

But I was gonna talk about the big group of fans standing behind home plate with sticks, buckets, cowbells, shakers, noisemakers...etc. I know it's high school ball, but that would be soooooo annoying. Some things just shouldn't be allowed in baseball...

however, if Hultzen finds a groove, the offense will quiet down.
