Over by 103 we had to put up with a couple of loud mouth, fowl mouth t-shirt horns until they were told to cool it or they could watch the game from the parking lot. Nothing like a bunch of 60 year old's acting like a bunch of drunk frat daddies with ZERO class.

Embarrassing as much as they were annoying!!

I actually had to tell some of them behind section 104 to watch their language because they were dropping the f word repeatedly about how we were getting all the breaks. My son was with me heading to the bathroom and he doesn't need to hear that.

On a funny note, he saw a Longhorn fan with a t-shirt with a steer on it. "Moo cow Mama!" Then he told the guy he was a Moo Cow.

I know of 4 tshirt fans there for sure. And even though I wasnt at the game, I guarantee you they were very obnoxious the entire game.

Yes, I don't always complain about them. However, I do have a problem with people swearing in front of my toddler at a college baseball game.

swearing is part of baseball, now, crying is not part of baseball.

I don't have a problem with most opposing fans, but I sit in the middle of an area that is all season ticket holders, so I don't see or hear many of them.

A lot of Longhorn fans seem to spend all of the game in the concourse immediately behind the first deck so that they can be heard by us. There is usually an old hippy with long white hair who is there with an old Hispanic guy, and they both curse like sailors. I didn't see them last night. The group behind us last night wasn't very loud. On the other hand, my wife (Tanya 93) should be able to take our toddler to the bathroom without him hearing F-bombs.

The worst fans, IMO, are the UH fans. They drink like fish and can't handle their liquor.

I know what you mean - had my son been with me at the recent Rice/TAMU game that I was at, I would have been in the same position Tanya was in with some Ags in the beer garden. Man, the mouths on those guys.

Please point out all the threads in which we are complaining about the opposing fan base.

I have no problem with 99% of the Horn fans that attend games here in CS, still it is the 1% that often leave a lasting impression.

There is no reason or cause to swear at any game. I am a Texas baseball season ticket holder and I don't hear any of what was described at the game last night. A matter fact, we don't put up with it in Austin. We do root for Texas, but no cursing.

Maybe they've cleaned things up at the new and improved Disch but I have experienced far worse than what was described to have happened last night. Again most of the those wearing burnt orange were polite and cordial but it is often the 1% you remember.

I started the thread and let me be clear that the "t-shirt" fans that were loud and obnoxious during the beginning and end of the game where on the concourse right behind section 102.

There were plenty of what I would think were actual alums from ut that where rooting for their team, BIG difference between them and the 2 idiots on the concourse.

He has been to many, many baseball games. We never hear swearing in our section or on the way to bathrooms or concessions, except for Thursday night. I don't try to protect him from everything, but I do think it's not unexpected to imagine grown men being able to refrain from swearing for a couple of hours around all ages of people.
