I'm sure the competition wasn't great, but that is still impressive. SFA looks like a pretty decent team.

I wonder if we will see Consol product Kevin Bishop pitch? He played summer ball on the Brazos Vally Renegades with current Aggies Krey Bratsen and Derrick Hadley.

What's happened to Mendoza? He didn't pitch this weekend did he? Wonder if he's hurt - ???

Two former Caldwell Hornets will take the field for the Jacks Tuesday night. Jr. Cory Ochs (2 letters) and Jr. Colton Eubanks (transfer from Blinn). Both are '08 graduates of CHS. They are both pitching out of the bullpen.

According to Gabe, Mendoza will be coming out of the bullpen on Tuesday and possibly on the weekend.

both Ochs and Eubanks are former players of the BV Renegades program as well.

I went to High School(Southlake Carrol) with Justin Braddock, the starting pitcher for SFA tonight. He was a year younger than me, as I graduated in '06 and he in '07. I didn't know him that well but from what I remember he was a really nice guy and a decent pitcher. On SFA's website, it said he didn't starting pitching in H.S. till he was a senior when he went 11-1 with 2.12 ERA and one save striking out 81 and walking just 20 in 69.1 innings and holding opponents to a .195 batting average. Too bad I don't live in C.S. any more or I'd go watch him pitch. Good luck tonight Ags and BTHO SFA!!!

Is Braddock their normal weekday game starter or a Weekend starter held over for our game?

It looks like he has pitched 4 times this year and has allowed 3 runs or fewer each time. He is their normal Sunday starter so I guess they are just matching him up against us tonight.

Ags need to bring home the W tonight. It is Baby Bergstrom's first birthday. We are bringing her out to the park.

This is probably an attempt to add some depth to the pen in Mendoza. Mendoza will probably be on the mound in the 6th or earlier if SFA jumps out early. I think Parrent will be fine but he'll need to be on his game because even though SFA hasn't seen anybody, they have been hitting the ball.
