It sure was, the mohawk went all the way down its back.

Yes, the dog did have a maroon mohawk. It was a service dog and very friendly. After the game the dog posed for many pictures outside the player's locker room.

Looks like you cranked the ISO up and did what you had to do tonight once it got dark... Tomorrow will be much much easier, not having to worry about ISO, but I'm sure you knew that already, having taken pics for years here.

Wildmen & Aggie2009 - Ross Hales is the starting pitcher on Sunday and his mom would love some pictures. He kinda wasn't around in the 2010 season.

Funny that it's him... In one of the scrimmages, I had to walk all the way around to the other side of the park to get his front side since he's left-handed. I'll go through my scrimmage photos and get what I have of him (if any are good).

I'll be there on Sunday, and would be happy to. I know Matt Juengel's mother enjoys pictures as well (she's super awesome), and takes some of her own. Krey Bratson's father (also a swell guy) enjoyed the ones that he saw as well.

I'm pretty sure all the parent's enjoy them, but I digress. I'll get as many good ones of Hales as I can. I sit right behind home plate, so hopefully Wildmen gets another angle (I'll probably move around too, once the game starts).

Aggies2009 - All the parents LOVE the pics that you and Wildmen take & are very appreciative. I have 3 years of pics in albums that I've gotten from TexAgs. Some even grace our walls. With the big guy at training camp, I couldn't stand it and had to attend opening game tonight. Had a blast but it was definately different! Love me some Aggie Baseball!

Baseball is definitely my favorite Aggie sport to attend, even though I've always been a football guy.

Speaking of Ross Hales, that reminds me that he threw a masterful 3-hit complete game shutout on Saturday in Austin in 2009. That still ranks as probably one of the best pitching performances I've seen, along with Stilson throwing in two games in the regional last season. We knew he had surgery and only got a few innings last season. It's good to have him back; I watched him in the scrimmages and he was dirty.

I was told tonight that Hales was pretty filthy last Sunday in the scrimmage. We've gotten to be good friends with the Hales and will be there on Sunday to cheer him on. His getting back to freshmen form could make a huge difference for the Ags. I thought all our guys looked good on the bump tonight.

Yeah, that HDR image of Olsen last season was sick. The more the merrier, I say.

Well that was before I got the Sigma. I'm loving everything I get with it work-related and my photos from the Tech bball game turned out surprisingly well at 200mm. That kit lens was fair at wide stuff, especially that HDR shot, but crap after that.

Oh yeah. The Sigma 2.8 tele is amazing. As you said, in bright light, it gives some soft images, but it serves it's purpose well when used correctly.

But anyway, back to the thread, great pics, Wildmen. Can't wait to see tomorrow's in the sun.

Well this got kinda side tracked. No worries. And yes last night I wanted to push my ISO up to see how it would do on my new camera. I had the noise reduction turned off as well to see how high I could set my ISO and have the pictures still look good. I'll bring it down a bit and turn on the noise reduction to see how it is then.

Pretty much every time I take my camera out I try to learn at least one thing from it.
