Frank is a ******, but he understands the game of baseball and its nuances. I think he may be a great teacher of the game, but a horrid gameday and lineup/roster manager. OSU's overreliance on JUCOs has led them nowhere in the FA era.

The state of Oklahoma is home to two of the biggest jerkoffs in collegiate baseball coaches.

And Bob Stoops and Mike Gundy ain't anything to write home about either. My God that state sucks.

We were in Stillwater in 2004. Tanya and I were sitting with twk. Anderson goes out to argue with the umpire and goes on and on. twk yells "You've got to take control of this game blue! Anderson is showing you up! We're all laughing at you!"

Right then, Anderson gets tossed. The OSU fans around us went ballistic. "You can let some Aggie umpire this game!" It was awesome.

Frank got tossed the next game as well.

Good story.

And to think that OU almost hired Gene Stephenson. Stay classy up there!

Frank couldnt even get his own son onto campus. His son is Brett Anderson, one of the starters in the Oakland rotaion.

We shouldn't be too soon to judge.

I don't think anyone was questioning Anderson's integrity away from the diamond and I think that was a phenomenal story. However, once the guy gets between the lines, he's someone that I cannot be a fan of. He just falls into a long line of oSu baseball coaches that were...ahem...less than honorable...ahem...on the field.

And his actions are constantly reflected by his players. To me, that says more about a coach than anything.

OSU has been playing with a short deck on scholarships ever since Frank got there. I think they had a baseball probation when he arrived, the a departmental probation (OSU had some systemic failures on handling scholarships) that have further reduced their baseball scholarships. That, and the fact that Pickens and the AD don't care about baseball, are why he will be cut a lot of slack.

He may be a nice guy off the field, but he has a bad attitude on the field, and it often gets the better of him.
