I have a request. That a picture of the Texas be substituted in for 49, and when we get to 3 we use a picture of the General. I wish I would have noticed this thread earlier.

no, there are no good pictures of the Texas, as after she was renumbered 212 and renamed the Cincinnati, she was left to rot after she was removed from service. A beautiful F-Type with the Santa Fe Warbonnet scheme was too good to pass up.

Sorry. When I was little I used to be obsessed with the Great Locomotive Chase.

Yeah, I really didn't have a problem with the Warbonnet. I just kinda felt like one of the most historic engines was appropriate. Also, what is wrong with the refurbishment of the Texas?

In the picture, you can somewhat see how the Texas was put together to look like a locomotive, but only to someone that doesn't know anything about them. The Texas as the Cincinatti
