With Mississippi State's win over Missouri tonight the SEC West improves to 10-1 against the SEC East this season. The lone loss for the West belongs to Ole Miss against Florida back on October 3rd. For comparison, the West went 10-4 against the East in last year's regular season (11-4 including the SEC Championship Game).

The remaining West vs. East games:
Auburn vs. Georgia on November 14th
Texas A&M at Vanderbilt on November 21st
Arkansas vs. Missouri on November 27th
SEC Championship Game on December 5th

There is still an oppurtunity for the East to pick up a win or two, but overall the West continues to dominate the East.

No surprise there.

A lot of non-SEC fans use teams like Georgia, Tennessee, and Mizzou as examples of the SEC being overrated. They don't understand that the SEC West is like its own conference compared to the East.

Florida is the only team in the East this year that can hang with the big boys of the West. John Curtis High School could beat some of the teams in the East. Florida/Georgia has basically been guaranteed a spot in Atlanta for the last 10 years unless they choke.

It would be fun to see how Arkansas or Miss State would do in the East. I still think Florida would win, but they might get 2nd.

SEC is the best conference !!

Forget the SECSECSEC!

SEC West is a really good conference by itself.

The East is not a good conference at all. 7 teams, only one worth a darn. And that one, Florida, well, still great, right(?) because that Vandy is tough this year, especially when they play on the road!
