So much crap!!! 'Merica, land of the offended!!

We live about twenty minutes from the UT campus. My wife told me about this yesterday....she heard it on the local news. This is just not reflective of this area. Then again, our daughter took a three hour course last year at the local community college called 'College Success,' and one of the lessons was how to open, then place a condom, on a carrot. This area can be very weird from a higher education perspective.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but this was an idea memo from the LGBT office, not an official edict from the chancellor, right? I'm sure it was met with plenty of eye-rolls.

As unbiased as this sounds, people tend to make decisions based upon their own prejudices.

Many areas especially around the south are very conservative but within a universities borders it can be quite the opposite or at least lean in liberal directions on some or many issues.

I have noticed this. I believe it is mostly caused by the professors who tell student that their own opinions are the word to follow
