Bonehead Play of the Week - presented by Boneheads of College Station
It's hard not to go with Georgia Tech's decision to go for it on fourth down and five yards, from their own 47 yard line, with seven minutes left to play... and not convert. And that's exactly what Gabe and Olin chose this morning as their Bonehead play of the game.
I, on the other hand, went a completely different route. I traveled to Waco last night for the A&M/Baylor basketball game (and no, that is not the Boneheaded play of the week!), and have to nominate the Baylor student section as a whole for the Bonehead play of the week. During the game and for about three minutes at halftime, the student section chanted, "One True Champ" after their football team showed off the Big 12 trophy on the court.
Now, if I remember correctly, no one from the Big 12 was selected for the the College Playoff Championship because there wasn't one true champion. Sounds Boneheaded to me!
Here's the highlights from Georgia Tech/Florida State:
Locally Aggie owned and operated by Heath and Erin Groves, Boneheads is a relaxed place with some serious taste!
