Game Wrap up & Preview
Last week, our then-#12 Ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies mopped the floor with the completely overmatched, unranked UTEP Miners, 57-7. Somehow, beating the pants off an unranked Division 1 – FBS team hurts your BCS Ranking.
Apparently, Johnny Football throwing for 4 Touchdowns and running for 2 more, the Special Teams blocking a punt for a Safety AND the previously hapless Aggie Defense getting 3 interceptions and a fumble recovery caused the Ags drop in the BCS rankings. Amazing. Seems like the BCS is angry because Johnny didn’t blow up the Internet on Halloween.
This week our BCS-#15 Ranked Fightin’ Texas Aggies welcome the Bulldogs of Mississippi State, to Kyle Field. This is the 4th trip to Kyle Field for #HailState. The All-time Series is tied 3-3 and the Bulldogs are looking to exact some revenge for the Aggies coming into their house in better looking uniforms and spanking them on their special Snow Bowl Remembrance Day.
The Aggies are looking to smack the Bulldogs on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper, take the lead in the all-time series and exact a little revenge for the last time the Bulldogs visited Kyle Field and outscored the Aggies 7-0…in 1915.
The Aggies are averaging 582.6 total yards of offense, with 210.8 yards rushing and 371.8 yards passing, and 49.0 points per game. The 4-4 Fighting Mullen’s are coming off a 34-16 drubbing by #14 South Carolina and are averaging 447.1 total yards of offense, with 198.5 yards rushing and 248.6 yards passing, and 28.375 points per game.
A generous Frisco A&M Club Member has purchased a pallet of Kyle Field grass and is offering fellow Aggies the opportunity purchase a piece of Aggieland, with proceeds going to the Frisco A&M Club Scholarship Fund. Click on the links below for your opportunity to help a future Aggie and get a piece of Kyle Field.
