Game Wrap up & Preview

Well…we ran out of time. Last week, our Fightin’ Texas Aggies hosted the top team in the country, in the College Football Game of The Year. Johnny Football was Johnny Football. Even when the Ags were down by three touchdowns, they didn’t quit.

Johnny Heismanzeil and the Boys fought back and gave Alabama all they could handle. Our Fightin’ Texas Aggie Offense put up 628 yards on the Red Laundry Detergent. The most yards ever allowed by Alabama. The. Most. Ever. Unfortunately, our Fightin’ Texas Aggie Defense wasn’t up to the challenge. The Ags dropped a barn-burner, 49-42.

On Saturday, our #10-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies will take out all their post-Alabama frustrations on the collegiate footballers from high-falutin’ University Park, the unranked Mustangs of Southern Methodist University.

The Ponies come into The Hate Barn…I mean Home of The 12th Man…with a 1-1 record, having eeked out an impressive 31-30 victory against the Football Championship Subdivision Fighting Bobcats of the mighty Football Championship Subdivision Montana State University of the Football Championship Subdivision Big Sky Conference.

The Smoobies haven’t tasted victory in College Station since the Pony Excess days of the early 1980’s. They won’t on Saturday, either. The Ponies just don’t have the horses to take down the Fightin’ Texas Aggies. K-Smooth, Johnny, “Pancake” Jake Matthews and Tony “The Shark” Hurd will see to that.
