Saban is going to Texas; I was told by a lady at the concession stand at Memorial Stadium Saturday night that he was in Austin Friday interviewing for the job. I told her she was mistaken, that he would not be interested in one of the best jobs in the country when he already had one of them and that I found it difficult to believe he could sneak off from the biggest game of the year on Saturday to trot to austin for such a purpose. She said he did sneak down and she knew someone who saw him.

I still have my doubts.

Last night I was told by a friend whose cousin used to date Joe Jamail's maid's kid that not only is Saban coming but Johnny Manziel is graduating from A&M in May and transfering to UT with dreams of becoming the first person to ever win two Heisman trophies at two different schools and four altogether, I expressed some reservations and was told Johnny Football always wanted to go to Texas, hated BCS and that after Saturday's game Saban promised him he would not make him play safety.

It all sounds too good to be true to me, but, hey, I'm a cynic.
