SEC Media Days really kick off the college football preseason. There aren't many exciting topics to discuss right now, so I figured I would put together the top 5 most intriguing performances by coaches and players from SEC Media Days. I didn't watch the espn coverage, but I listened to the majority of the interviews.
5. AJ Mccaron - As much as I can't stand Mccaron as an LSU fan, he came across as very well spoken, mature, and a leader. I couldn't sotp thinking that behind his bow tie is a trashy tattoo.
4. Jadeveon Clowney - Clowney didn't shy away from saying that some opposing quarterbacks are scared of him. He also discussed his enjoyment of being the big man on campus
3. Steve Spurrier - Spurrier was once the king of media days. He was a little toned down this year, but still made some interesting comments about player stipends.
2. Will Muschamp - Muschamp came out blasting Ohio St. He spoke fluidly without taking many breaths. He has a firm demeanor, but isn't afraid to take shots. He acts like Saban somewhat, but is a little more candid.
1. Les Miles - Miles "won" media days according to everyone. He discussed his recent repelling of a building, hyperbaric chambers, and mainly the schedule. He joked about offering Lebron James in the second grade if he knew about him. He also came out in full force regarding the scheduling inequality in the SEC.
