I was responding to a thread in the A&M Football forum that got deleted before i hit enter. In it a LSU fan started it trying to stir up smack. Many Aggies responded in it saying our players were unhappy and that was why they declared for the draft. So I wanted to post my response to them in the appropriate forum.
As a Tiger fan, I do not agree with what the op has done here by just trying to stir up smack. However, I do have to comment on the fact that you all think that we lost so many players because they are unhappy. That is far from the truth. We lose players to the NFL because they are NFL-ready. Why would they risk another year and possible injury to destroy their chances to make it big. Every one of those kids will be ambassadors for LSU. Brad Wing - he doesnt like college. Why do you think we got another Aussie punter to come in this year? Because we knew he wasnt going to stick around. It proabably makes you feel good to think there are problems and that these players leave because they are unhappy. Ain't so tho. Read this ESPN article. THese kids leave for all kinds of reason but being unhappy at LSU ain't the one.
