Angela had a child, a job and was a full time college student with no considerations to dating, at the time. In what little free time she had, Angela began to play a game on the computer that allowed her to build an avatar and chat with people from around the world.

One day this “character” from the deep south visited her in the room she had created in the game. They began to talk, and before they knew it, they exchanged phone numbers and talked into the night, until his Southern accent soothed her to sleep.

The phone wasn't enough; they needed to see each other, so Angela and Jonathan began to Skype. While they had considered meeting, Angela knew, in reality, she was a city girl who lived in New York and he was a country boy in Alabama.

After nearly a year of a long distance romance, they had to meet. Jonathan had never been on an airplane, but for Angela, he would do anything. He purchased round trip tickets to visit for the week of her birthday. As she waited for Jonathan to get off the plane, Angela was shaking like a leaf, wondering to herself, 'what in the world am I getting myself into?' She turned around and there he stood; the man
behind the soothing Southern voice.

During their time together, Angela and Jonathan knew they were in love, and on her birthday, May 29th, he asked her to marry him. They say only fools rush in, but they were happy and in love; and Angela said yes.

On the way to the airport, where Jonathan would catch his flight home, Angela cried. She cried when they hugged and as he walked off. She cried alone in her car. Then, she received a text message from Jonathan that simply said, “I couldn’t do it!”. Little did Angela know that while on the plane, Jonathan had already told the pilot that he had just asked the woman he loves more than anything to marry him and that he could not leave her.

In a true romantic movie moment, Jonathan dropped his bags as they ran towards one another, hugging and kissing.

Angela and Jonathan have been together for more than two years and Jonathan has adopted her son as his own. They are more than ready to become husband and wife.
