Auburn is a lateral move and actually a downgrade if you consider their status right now. Aren't there more sanctions perhaps on the way?

JFF makes Sumlin look like a genius. JFF will be around A&M a while. Ergo, Sumlin will be around a while.

Get worried about Sumlin around the time JFF is leaving A&M. That's the ideal time for him to make a move, assuming he ever does.

Sumlin isn't leaving. He'll get a contract worthy of his stature as the HC leading the emergence of A&M as a national power.

The wave isn't even close to crested. His legacy has just started here. Why start over when he is already on his way to achieving legendary status?

Sumlin has it very good here. Why should he be leaving on a verge of an A&M resurgence that has the potential of an SEC/NC. Their are a lot of things money can't buy.

Bobby Lowder cant throw all the money at Sumlin he wants. KS knows he's in a position to get a statue outside of Kyle right next to King Gill. I don't think he's going anywhere until he's ready to retire. He could very easily be at A&M what Bear was at 'Bama.

I'm not starting the fund for it yet. I'm just saying he's far exceeded expectations and seems to be achieving legit results. Nothing points to flash in the pan concerns. There is no advantage in Auburn over A&M. Our underachieving history means his bar to Aggie immortality is actually low.
