Totally against the spirit of the award which goes to the best player of the year....no regard to team record, or classification, or anything. Just some bullsht rogue element of Heisman voters trying to force their personal award criteria into the mix. What a bunch of puzzies.....if Manziel were a Junior I would not want him to win the Heisman because some better player out there was a fish......RUINS the award in my opinion....who wants to win it when they know (and the whole nation knows) they are not the best?

You would think that being a freshman and putting up videogame numbers like that would show how good he is. He just played his 12th game in college and broke Cam Newton's record.

The fact that there is even a discussion about this shows backward logic and the push to make the Heisman a career award.
