With Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky all looking for a coach, now would be a HORRIBLE time to cut Pinkel loose.

This is a general consensus up there.

Pinkel should have been fired years ago. He was on the hot seat and fixing to get canned when he recruited that South Lake QB. Todd Dodge went there and implemented his offense in the off season. It matched the QB perfectly. That was Pinkel's best 4 years. When that QB left he became average Joe again.

Yes, that's Chase Daniel. Pinkel's actually had a better run than that ... but he's not an SEC-quality coach.

There are even rumors Pinkel resigns after the game for health reasons.

Something to consider is that Missouri is probably finding out that they don't get to play iowa state, colorado, and other big 12 north "powers" every year.
