No, student tickets require a valid student ID.

But I don't see why you couldn't buy a regular ticket and sit in the general admission area, or have a student ticket converted into a guest ticket.

You can get a student ticket then have it converted to a guest ticket, but since the winthrop game you can not buy a guest ticket flat out. you must have the sports pass acquired student ticket.

once you get in, theres nothing to stop you from "sitting" in the student section. just go over there

Anyway I can get a student ticket and sit down instead of standing all game... I stand at football games and am able to enjoying the games (at least where i'm not standing sideways do to overcrowding the seats)... but basketball I just can't seem to enjoy the game.

Oh brother... at least I'm going to the games. Not everyone has the mental or physical stamina to stand all game.

At tceh they check student ID's at the aisles and stuff leading into the student section.
