I'd like to give some props for keeping up the tough d despite frustration on the offensive end. Later on in the year that tough defense is going to pay off in games when we're not shooting well.

Yep. The defense has to be there night in and night out. That consistency gives you a chance to be successful over the season. Defense is a lot about effort. You can do that every night. Sometimes the shots just won't go down.
