if you want to know how "major" women's basketball really is, go to cnnsi.com and look on the cover page. nothing about the championship which ended less than 24 hours ago.

if you goto espn.com, to find stuff about womens bball you have to goto a little hidden tab on the menu labeled "More Sports", its there with "News Wire", "Action Sports", and "Other Sports", all of which seem more exciting

Harry, glad you could come over. I'm totally impressed and proud of the job KMR has done with the Lady Bears, she and the school deserve all the credit. uh i dont know if you noticed, but our men's and women's teams had similar years(both went pretty far in the n.i.t.) however one of those 2 teams had trouble getting more than 3,000 people at their games. take a wild guess which one. i guarantee you if we won a national championship in a women's sport we wouldnt be goin to other team's boards and bragging about it.

outside of the few colleges who are really good at it(and baylor because they finished last in football and men's basketball), no one cares about women's basketball.

Right, no one cares about women's basketball ... until you challenge for a national championship. I guarantee you if A&M won a national championship in women's hoops, this place would be going nuts. I guarantee you Reed would've been jam-packed for the triumphant return. Hell, they would've had to hold the rally at Kyle.

Congrats to Baylor.

i wont say anything about our reaction to a womens NC, but i gaurandamntee you it 80% of us still wouldn't goto a game if we were paid
