I think most of us expected a little more from him this year, but I noticed something interesting from the stat sheet. If Edjuan could project his minutes to the same level as Jones, he would be getting 8.7 rebounds per game. Jones only averages 7.0.

My point is that even though Edjuan had some trouble adapting to the system, this guy still has a lot of potential and could do some good things for us next season.

His former JC team, Temple College, just went 31-1, losing their first game March 10, 76-78. Wow.

It's bad when you are still talking about potential for a guy with 3 years of JUCO and one year of Div I under his belt. I hope he can step up next year.

People get tired when they play as long as Jones does, their per-minute averages go way down.

When asked about Dennis Rodman and how he got all of those rebounds, Charles Barkley once stated that if he wasn't counted on to score 20ppg, he could probably get as many or more rebounds as Dennis Rodman every night.

This wasn't meant to a be ANY criticism of Jones. My point was that when you look at the stat sheet carefully, that number jumps out at you. Kind of like Chris Walker's 3 point percentage, or the fact that Bobby Leach has better numbers than Kirk in every statistical category, or that AW shoots 50% from the field, or that Acie shoots 52%.

That brings up another point. I'm a huge UNC fan, and they have enormous talent, but I believe that this A&M team does as good a job at recognizing a good shot as any team in the country. Every time I see Sean May or Marvin Williams take a 19 footer, or Melvin Scott jack up a 3 from way behind the arc, I think "Billy's kids wouldn't pull a stunt like that."

Right now Green is buried deep in Billy's doghouse. It goes back to the isu game. Billy put him in the game when both Jones and Pompey were in foul trouble. He came on the court, and did not know who he was suppose to be guarding which lead to an easy basket. Then down on the other end, he got the ball, turned, and stepped out of bounds. Billy quickly pulled him, chewed him out, and I don't think he's seen the court since except for a couple of meaningless minutes.
