I will be there but does anyone have any idea as to how many people we should expect? If it were'nt spring break it would be a sell out but how much of an effect will that have?

We'll be lucky to get 8,000 people there. The students being out of town is a huge blow.

Yeah I mean I'm gonna be there and the usual crowd will be there... but man it's tough being Spring Break and all. We should have hosted the game on a temporary court at South Padre. There will probably be more students there.

What was our largest midweek crowd during the season?

I'd guess it was when the university gave out thousands of free tickets over the semester break. Unless they give out free tickets again, I don't think we will be looking at a huge crowd.

I wish I could be at the game instead of at work!

We also had a midweek game with 11971 on a Tuesday night at 8pm shortly after that.

the CS community needs to rise to the occasion....I will be coming in from San Antonio.

i'll be driving in from houston. wish i could find some way to get a free ticket though.

If the BCS community is gonna rise up and pick up the slack, they'd better "pimp it " more on the local media. I've been off all day and not one mention on KBTX or adds on local COX. I still think we'll have a good showing.

We did have over 11,000 for UH during the Christmas break. There were virtually no students in attendance.

Yes we did... We did that by giving two half price tickets to staff/falculty for mens games two freebees for womens,and no paid parking

as of 1pm the ticket office still had free student tickets available

The attendance of this game will have nothing to do with the rest of the season...its spring break and thats all there is to it.

Total sellout, bank on it

Its post-season in a town of 80,000k. This will sell out. We had 17,000k at Olsen on the first weekend of Spring Break. Same senario - we will have 12,000 at this game.

We had 11,000 for UH, but that was b/c McDonalds GAVE away a ton of tickets, and most were half price. Also, this weekend a lot of students still hadn't left town yet for teh week. I see 8000 or so for the game.

We gave away tickets, but that was before the attendance starting getting big and before conference play. At that time no one know we could win 8 league games. Totally different situation.

And I disagree with students staying around the first weekend of Spring Break. I hauled ass out of CS every year on Friday afternoon to go skiing.

obviously all 45,000 don't go skiing or to the beach and aren't as quick to leave.
