Man I love this team...I hope they win the NIT...but even if they dont...its been one hell of a season...never thought I would see a good basketball season at A&M...ever...

I too will always remember this team. It's one of the reasons that I think AW may just come back to finish the job.

No one, no one nobody, no where ever thought that this team could do what it did after last years total melt down with a senior laden team.

I take my hat off to you guys and Coach BCG. Then again, I knew Gillispies was the real deal from day one! However, I would of never imagined that he would of been able to get so much out of so little in such a short period of time!

I think I'm glad that I was here my freshman year for the 0-16. I really appreciate how much BCG has been able to do, and hopefully next year and in years after I can go back to (Fully redesigned with a drop down scoreboard) Reed and see a packed student section, (wearing two shirts) old army guys tailgating outside like a football game, landscaping at Reed Arena , and a top tier basketball team and think "I stood through the worst, and now I get to stand through the best."

I love college basketball and after last season I didn't think there was any hope that Aggie Basketball would ever make an impact on the national stage. But I was wrong, from out of the darkness we've joined the leagues of teams that are middle of the road. Now it's time to take that next leap, one year, one coach, one player can make the difference.

Ags, lets show up and BTHO the NIT and then get ready for next season... It's gonna be fun

I say we show this team the love we have for them...a big showing at our first NIT game, with a loud, frenzied crowd, would go a long way towards doing that.

Hey JJxvi, what do you know about the Junction Boys..Not much by the stupid remark you made, you probably wasn't even born then..I was there, they sacrificed a lot playing for Bear Bryant..Before you open your stupid mouth, check the facts.........

It has been an amazing year. I honestly think this was the best we could have played this year. Everyone played beyond their potential, and Antoine finally played up to his. I am psyched to be able to watch us again in the NIT. I think we will do very well, but if we don't, it won't take a damn thing away from what this team accomplished this year. Truly amazing. Hell, it brings tears to my eyes too coach.

1954 1-9 0-6 Last place in the SWC

This team is currently 19-12, was 8-9 in conference games and will play in the postseason. I felt the distinction between the two teams needed to be made to emphasize this team's achievement. The Junction Boys class obviously should be honored and noted for turning the program around, but that first year they did suck. This basketball team most definitely did NOT suck.

Perhaps you should read what you wrote Antonio59.

For JJxvi and another dumbo named PatAg..True, 1954 went 1-9,1955: 7-3, 1956: 9-0-1 , won SWC, and 1957 going 8-0 and No.1 in country when it leaked out Bear going to Alabama and team had a hard time dealing with it, wound up at 8-2. Bear inherited a mess and don't believe you should compare Junction Boys and football and what Gillispie has done in Basketball for A&M..Two different situations, as you see, it will take Coach Fran some time to get the football program going again as he inherited a mess as well..Anyway, I'm outa here, this is a basketball board......

What a wonderful tribute to a team that has given its all....overachievers inspired by a coach that believed.....and as a result has given us an incredible ride. Just wait.... the best is yet to come.
