I would probably understand though if my school had the rich history and proud athletic background that yours does.

Uhhh, no. A team that wins 5 conference games in Men's Bball is far superior to a chickball team ranked #6 in the nation. Of course this is my opinion. I could give a dlck less about any chickball accomplishments.

Here is the deal. The Bears' roster this season included limited scholarships, nine newcomers and only one senior. That made them the nation's most inexperienced team. Baylor's incoming recruiting class is considered among the top 15 nationally.

We will be fine. So will A&M. The next few years should be fun.

this thread was started during the baylor game, before the kstate game even started. it was then bumped a lot when your dumb@ss bear friends forgot that they finished dead last and lost to us, twice, and came over and tried to talk smack.

I have said since this summer that aTm would be good this year, and everyone laughed and said 0-16. It is the 'once down, always down' mentality. Don't make the same mistake with Baylor's upcoming team.

Get real. There wasn't a bit of "smack" from any Baylor fans until the 2nd page of this thread, long after the smack-talk about a team y'all DIDN'T EVEN PLAY YESTERDAY was over a page long.

Guys it is pointless trying to talk smack to Gaylor fans, their teams are so bad, they have nothing to lose, nothing you say gets to them, because they KNOW that they suck, your fighting a lost cause.

That's the amazing thing though. I think a lot of them honestly don't know that they suck. I myself have given up on it though, there are better things to worry about

I'm not a fan of women's hoops. However it is the 3rd most popular NCAA sport nationally; even more so than baseball.

I know you Ags could care less about women's basketball. Its kind of like how you could care less about men's basketball until this year.

Your argument is laughable...If women's hoops played as many (hell even half as many) games a season as baseball, you would see a dramatic drop in attendance across the board. WAY more people walk thru the gates at major baseball venues in a given season than inside a basketball arena.

If chickball doesn't matter, then why did A&M spend a lot of money to hire Blair away from Arkansas?

Cause Byrne wants to win at everything, including checkers. He is tired of the Baylor fans talking smack about their Spanish Salsa dancing team kicking the crap out of ours.

This is very true, however A&M started two freshman, a 3A big guy, and an virtually unknown SG out of Dallas. We also started a walkon who was playing intramurals last year and is way undersized to play PF, A sophomore PG, and a badass junior SF. We also had a lone senior who came off the bench...

Not saying womens hoops doesn't matter, but in this part of the country, baseball is MUCH more popular...

Why are we downplaying sports other FB and Men's BB?

BU's W's B-Ball team could win a National Championship this year. I said "could!" Since we stunk this year, we downplay their thus far and future accomplishments?

I know the BU fans on this thread are acting like turds, but a Big 12 Championship is a Big 12 Championship. We would saying scoreboard if we beat them.

Absolutely. You guys had a great season. You have ever right to be proud of the progress your basketball team made this year. Yes, you beat Baylor twice this year. You were the better team - anyone can see that.

However, you have no reason to slam anyone: Baylor, Texas Tech or whoever. Texas A&M has traditionally been the little sister of Big XII basketball.
