That being said, we still won't make the NCAA. Our RPI is way high, no team with a 70 or above has made the tournament and not all of our first 11 wins will be considered.

By some miracle, if we beat OSU and then beat Baylor, we would be a bubble team, but 1-1 in the next two games will ensure us an NIT bid, which I will be more than happy to take this season.

Beating OSU in Stillwater would be a miracle, Gillispie would be up for Aggie sainthood if he was able to pull that out.

Win two games or more in the Big 12 tourney

They will be hard to ignore.

What have we seen from this team that says we can win 2 games in the Big XII tournament? If that happens, my assessment of the team would be way far off.

RedAgs01 really isn't a basketball fan is he? This team is so hot right now they can play with just about anybody. Beat CU at the mile high altitude, blow out ISU and then stomp the hell out of Tech and he still questions this team?

I'm not questioning the team. They have played great and I'm proud as hell. But we aren't making the NCAA. Like I said, a few of our OOC games won't count. And we don't have any impressive road wins. CU is impressive for us because we haven't been able to win there but for the rest of the country it isn't impressive.

First round game will probably be against a lower seed. If the Ags win, the second round game will be against a higher seed. Consequently ,only one upset needed to win two B12 Tourney games... right?

Maybe not likely but certainly possible.

If they don't make the Dance, an NIT bid would be great. This team has exceeded everyone's expectations with the possible exception of Billy G regardless of what happens point forward.

RedAgs, give it a rest. I'm tired of people unequivocally saying "we won't make the NCAA tourney". The odds are that we probably won't but there is still a chance. If you want to rain on the parade, take it off the boards until we officially accept an NIT bid. Then you can come back on here and beat your chest about how you told us so.

In the meantime, what is the harm in discussing possible scenarios that might get us into the tourney?

RedAgs, your PREDICTION is that we will not make the NCAA tourney. You may be right and probably will be. But coming on here stating that "we won't make the NCAA tourney" as if you have some clairvoyance in the matter is the problem. At least entertain the idea that we still have a possibility before calling everyone out for not living in the real world.

What ever happens to them as the season concludes
will not make me down on them.
I know the fans can take some credit, but I put

You asked the question of what have we seen thus far to indicate that we could win two games. Well, right now, our first round game would be against someone like K-State. We have proven we can beat them. Then, we blew out one of the teams that is going to get a first round bye. So, why if we beat them, could we not beat another team in the 2nd round. Not saying we will, but you never know.

This team has been spectacular. I don't care if they don't go anywhere (NCAA or NIT). They have been an absolute joy to watch. Their work ethic, their determination, their style of play has brought big time basketball to College Station.

First off, I love the things that this team has done this year. They have made a lot of people actually start caring about basketball again.

I'm not stirring the pot, I'm trying to bring you folks down from the narcotic induced highs you get when we win a game or two or three. Let's be happy with the NIT and start talking about that. Talking about the NCAA is a waste of time.

We are not even close to being eliminated from the NCAA. Just win the Big XII tourney.

This team has a legitimate shot at the NCAA's, though it is a long shot. Strange things happen in March. Cinderella always makes an appearance somehow. Why can't A&M be Cinderella.
